Phantom

This morning at 7.00 hrs, I stacked enough hay on the loft above Quick's stable to last the whole coming winter. You can't imagine how much one horse can eat... Fortunately I had some help from Benjamin.
Just finished reading 'Phantom' by Sysan Kay an adaptation of the Phantom of the Opera. This novel is majestic. If you want to read a good Phantom-story then forget the original work by Gaston Leroux and read Susan Kay's novel. The story begins with the birth of Erik, and describes his miserable youth and travels up to the dramatic events at the Opera Populaire in Paris and ends 17 years after the death of the Phantom to reveal a nice secret that Raoul has to keep forever. More Phantomnovels are on the way from the States so I can once again immerse myself completely in romantic gothic tales.
